Australian Pole Championships 2014 Registration
Video entries for all states and regions will be accepted from February 1st 2014 until March 31st 2014
Videos must be between 2-3 minutes long for all divisions except battle, battle videos must be 1 minute long, all videos must be of a single routine and not different clips added together
video entries do not have to be the routine you preform on the night

Australian Pole Championships 2014 Divisions

Professional
Professional Division: Previously competed in an international or national
competition, or placed top 3 in a professional state competition or semi professional
competition.
Female only
Please note* The winner of Professional Division will gain automatic video entry into
the International Pole Championships (IPC) Semi Finals
Amateur
Amateur division is open to all competitors who have not competed/qualified in an
international, national competition or placed top 3 in a professional state competition
or semi professional competition.
Female only
Group
Group;  : Can be Professional or Amateur, male or female and between 2-6 people. •    Please note due to scaffold weight restrictions, no more than 3 people are to be on the poles at all times, Fox example, you can have 3 people on one pole, 2 people one pole and 1 on another, or 1 person on each pole, but never more than 3 people on both poles at one time. More than 3 people on the poles at the same time will result in instant disqualification.
Battle
Battle is open to advanced students, instructors, professionals, amateurs, male or
female.
Battle will consist of one minute of random music to which the competitor will
showcase their best tricks.

Video entry criteria for Professional, Amateur & Group
Please note video entries do not need to be the routine that you preform at the championships

Each part of the criteria is worth 20 points

Technical Difficulty
(strength, flexibility, transitions)

Dance Movement
(fluidity, lines-extensions, choreography, variation)

Stage Presence
(entertainment, use of stage,  audience engagement, x-factor)

Total score will be out of 60 points

Video entry criteria for Battle

Technical Difficulty
(strength, flexibility, transitions, tricks)

Dance Movement
(fluidity, lines-extensions, acrobatic element, difficulty)

Total score will be out of 40 points
